| This is a special post for all those who've been to Australia.....
Deal or No Deal is coming to the US!!!!!
Remember, the really weird game show with random people holding briefcases. They pick numbers narrowing it down to just two- hoping to win the big jackpot. We all made fun of it in Australia and now it's made it's way over here! Enjoy. |

| Well we made it to New York! We're living in Palmyra, a cute little town between Syracuse and Rochester. Josh loves his job at Premier Retail and I'm looking for a legal secretary/ paralegal job. Our apartment is in Salzburg Village, a cute little complex that looks like a little Bavarian town. We are super excited about being so much closer to everyone! For all you Michiganders, we're only a 6 hour drive away! |

| We're moving! Josh and I are leaving California and heading to New York this summer. We're looking to move to the Syracuse area, so please keep us in your prayers as we look for jobs and an apartment. |

| MUDSLIDES! Before moving to California I have never seen or been affected by a mudslide.... well, that's changed. This season we've had over 33 inches of rain, only 5 inches from breaking all the records, ever, in Southern California! Which means the hills are soaked and apparently, when they get wet enough they just fall over, right into the road.
There are two ways off campus- both of them blocked by huge mudslides. The PCH is 5 lanes of traffic, all closed by a mudslide. Malibu Canyon is the fastest way to highway (through the valley) to go anywhere- completely closed. The next road to the highway on either side also closed. Josh's 1 1/2 hr commute took him 3 hours because he had to go in a huge circle around the mountains. So, while it may not rain as much here as in other places---- the results are way worse. Houses sliding off the mountain, falling on top of other houses- all because of less than 3 feet of rain!!! Craziness! But, on a happy note, maybe we'll get a mudslide day tomorrow! |
